Custom-made Décor

Furniture

The furniture is custom-made by Les Histoires d’Alice & Cie. This family-run business has grown its expertise over three generations to evolve and modernise its craft while respecting the French values of authenticity. Today, the company specialises in the customisation of furniture.

Les Histoires d’Alice & Cie worked closely with Le Relais Saint-Jacques to create the furniture for each of the 22 individually customised rooms, complementing the identity of the hotel and the vision of the specially chosen fabric designers. The result is a range of unique and authentic furnishings.

Designer Fabrics

We have called on the most renowned designing houses to furnish our rooms:

Manuel Canovas whose collections are inspired by eighteenth-century lifestyle, reinterprets its classic fabrics with a real twist. These luxury fabrics are characterized by the use of bright colours and subtle blends of hot pink, anise, amethyst and turquoise.

Toiles de Mayenne both weavers and designers, are careful to uphold the French traditions while modernising the elegance and finesse it is so well known for. Their furnishings perfectly reflect not only this character, distinction and spirit of subtlety but also the rigour and impertinence that the respect for tradition and modernity demands.

Since 1935, Pierre Frey has designed and produced cloths and wallpapers in the purest French tradition.

The mere mention of the names of the fabrics is enough to make you drift away: ‘Garden Blue Sepia’, ‘The Curiosity Cabinet’, ‘Macao China Blue’, ‘Taking Flight’…
